'Moving on up that table': Bristol Rovers fans react to 'completely different' second half against Southend United

Bristol Rovers fans have been reacting to the incredible comeback against Southend United.

The Gas went into the second half 2-0 down after goals from Tom Hooper and Brandon Goodship, but Graham Coughlan's words at half time inspired Rovers into a second half comeback.

Second half goals from Jonson Clarke-Harris, Abu Ogogo, Ed Upson and Alfie Kilgour secured the three points at the Mem.

Rovers were without captain Ollie Clarke and in-form defender Rollin Menayese due to suspension, but the win leaves Rovers in fifth place in League One, one point off third.

The result left some Gasheads convinced the Rovers can still push for a play off spot.

See how the fans reacted after the game.

Troy Candy: What a game/result and another 3 points! Moving on up that table, Proud of the lads for not being too disheartened with the way the first half went, came out 2nd half all guns blazing.

BRFCDiscussions: Best one-half performance all season, I think. I said this a few months ago but I'm going to say it again - we can seriously push for the play-offs this year. A few players in during the January window and let's go for it!

Paul Smith: Go Bristol Rovers. From 2-0 down, now winning 4-2.

Matt Robinson: What a comeback from Bristol Rovers.

Max Alderson: This is the most confusing Bristol Rovers side in history.

BlueSideofTown: Lots of negativity at half time which was understandable but I did think we would get back into things. A Coughlan half time hair dryer treatment, attacking towards the Thatchers end and a shaky Southend defence meant the game pretty much turned on its head.

Yate Gas: The ultimate game of two halves.

David Flewellen: Last time Bristol Rovers scored 4 goals in two consecutive league games was a pair of 4-1 away wins at Luton and Oldham in February 2000.

Elliot Ownes: I would love to know what GC said at half time, that was a completely different team after the break.

Doug Shields: First half Bristol Rovers players tried to get GC sacked. Second half they tried to win the league?!?
