This year has been the biggest yet for the Scottish film industry as more and more Hollywood productions have chosen our country to film.
Scotland has seen huge blockbusters like Avengers: Infinity War and Fast & Furious 9 take over our cities in previous years, and 2021 has been no different.
From a variety of different DC Comics productions to doubling up as Moscow in the 1980s, here's a list of all the productions that took place in Scotland across 2021 and how to watch them upon release.
Batgirl

The HBO Max production began filming in Glasgow in early December and is set to carry on through the new year.
Leslie Grace is taking on the titular role of our masked vigilante Barbara Gordon, while J.K Simmons reprises his role as Commissioner Jim Gordon and The Mummy's Brendan Fraser will be playing the main villain.
The film is set to be released sometime in 2022 on HBO Max.
The Control Room
The BBC drama starring Glaswegian actor Iain De Caestecker is currently in the works across multiple locations in the city.
The story follows a Scottish Ambulance Service handler and is set in Glasgow, and De Caestecker described it as "one of the most exciting scripts I've ever read".
The thriller will be available on BBC One once production is finished.
Indiana Jones 5

Glasgow travelled back in time to celebrate the moon landing this summer as the filming of Indiana Jones took over the city centre.
Many city centre streets and shops were dressed in American flags and decorated to match the patriotic surroundings for the shoot.
The film stars Harrison Ford, who didn't travel to Glasgow, and Phoebe Waller-Bridge, who was spotted at the shoot.
Indiana Jones 5 is scheduled to be released in July 2022.
The Flash

Glasgow was once again turned into Gotham City as another set of masked DC vigilantes poured into our streets.
DC Comics The Flash blockbuster was filmed in Glasgow over the summer and was a unique experience as some passersby would catch a glimpse of the batmobile.
Starring Ezra Miller, Ben Affleck and Michael Keaton, the film is set to hit theatres in November 2022.
Good Omens

Amazon Prime's Good Omen's series had set up camp in Edinburgh to film the highly anticipated second season of the show.
Both David Tennant and Michael Sheen are back reprising their roles as demon Crowley and angel Aziraphale.
The show is expected to air exclusively on Amazon Prime in 2022.
Tetris

At the beginning of 2021, Glasgow transformed into 1980s' Moscow for the shoot of Tetris, based on the popular game.
The film stars Kingmen's Taron Edgarton, as the film shot in Glasgow and across Scotland in Aberdeen as well which served as a substitute for the Soviet Union.
So far, the film is still in development and doesn't have a release date as of yet.
Screw
The new series produced by STV Studios and written by Rob Williams was filmed earlier this year in Glasgow’s historic Kelvin Hall which acts as a prison.
The show stars Derry Girls star Jamie-Lee O'Donnell alongside Faraz Ayub, Stephen Wight, Ron Donachie and Laura Checkley.
Screw premieres on Channel 4 at 9pm January 2 2022.
The Rig
The Rig is set to become a brand new six-part Amazon thriller series starring Line of Duty's Martin Compston as the shows leading man.
Filmed in Edinburgh, the premise of the series will follow a group of workers on an oil rig as they set to depart for the mainland before a "mysterious" force takes hold.
As well as filming on a real life oil rig, many of the scenes will be shot at the former power plant on Bath Road at the Port of Leith.
The Rig is expected to be released on Amazon Prime sometime in 2022.
