In the season of political red carpets, the Oscars will have a similar theme: gun control.
Everytown for Gun Safety, Michael Bloomberg's gun control advocacy group, will provide celebrities with anti-gun violence pins, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
The organization did not immediately return a request for comment.
The news comes two weeks after 17 people were killed in a school shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Fla.
George and Amal Clooney recently donated $500,000 to March for Our Lives, organized by students Jaclyn Corin, Emma Gonzalez, Cameron Kasky, David Hogg and Alex Wind.
"Amal and I are so inspired by the courage and eloquence of these young men and women from Stoneman Douglas High School," the 56-year-old actor and director told the Daily News in a statement.
"Our family will be there on March 24 to stand side by side with this incredible generation of young people from all over the country, and in the name of our children Ella and Alexander, we're donating $500,000 to help pay for this groundbreaking event."
Oprah Winfrey, Steven Spielberg and Jeffrey Katzenberg all matched the Clooney's six-figure donation.
Celebrities previously wore Time's Up pins at the Golden Globes in support of the legal defense fund that helps women alleging sexual harassment. Women also wore black dresses in protest.
