In a special event presented by Margaret Pomeranz, the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra leads audiences down the red carpet and into the world of movie music. The orchestra will play classic movie themes from the menacing Jaws to the Saharan splendour of Lawrence of Arabia, to the music from The Mission and the epic soundtrack to Gone with the Wind.

According to composer Neil Brand, the best soundtrack music is the one you don’t notice, but perhaps it is also the one that stays with viewers long after.
