Movie House Cinema is hosting autism friendly screenings of the Lion King

It's one of the hottest films for summer, with kids everywhere desperate to see the latest take on Disney classic The Lion King.

With an all-star cast made up of Donald Glover voicing Simba, Seth Rogen as Pumbaa and Chiwetel Ejiofor as the treacherous Scar, as well as lead track Spirit performed by Beyonce, it's set to be an move to remember.

And next month, on Saturday August 3 and Sunday August 4, Movie House cinemas will be hosting Autism Friendly Screenings of the film at three of its locations - Coleraine, Glengormley and Cityside.

The film will be shown at 11am.

During Autism Friendly screenings, house lights are kept up, audiences are free to move around, the volume is turned down and no ads or trailers are played.

Tickets cost £4.50 and CEA cards can be used.
