Tottenham midfielder Moussa Sissoko has sent fans a message after suffering a knee injury which has led to January transfer window speculation.
Sissoko has been a regular for Spurs this season for both Mauricio Pochettino and Jose Mourinho, who took over from the Argentine last November.
But Tottenham have been dealt a blow after Sissoko suffered a knee problem which will see him ruled out of action for three months.
It has led to speculation that Mourinho and Spurs may look for a replacement midfielder on loan this month during the January transfer window.
There are further fitness questions over the likes of Tanguy Ndombele and Eric Dier, with Harry Winks and Victor Wanyama the only defensive midfielders for Mourinho to count on.
Sissoko has been sent warm messages aplenty from Tottenham fans wishing him well during his recovery.
The 30-year-old has since responded and took to his personal Instagram account.
"Recovery time. Thank you very much for all the messages," he said.

Meanwhile, it has been reported that Spurs are only looking at loan options when it comes to their search for a midfielder.
Flamengo midfielder Gerson had been linked but Sky Sports insist that a deal will not be pulled off this month.
Bruno Fernandes is another player who Tottenham could chase after links last summer but Mourinho has already poured call water over the latest rumours.
"I would definitely say no," Mourinho explained. "Because Bruno is a player of a level and value that is not for us. We are not a club that is going to make big transfers in the market."
