Moussa Sissoko issues one-word injury update for Tottenham fans ahead of RB Leipzig clash

Tottenham midfielder Moussa Sissoko has teased fans on his imminent return to injury ahead of the first leg of the club's Champions League showdown against RB Leipzig.

The France international last featured for Jose Mourinho's side in the 1-0 defeat to Southampton in the Premier League on New Year's Day.

In his absence, Spurs have been hit with significant injury concerns as Harry Kane remains out of action for an extended period and Mourinho was unable to secure a new striker in January.

Those injury concerns took an even bigger hit on Tuesday following the announcement that Son Heung-Min broke his arm in the victory against Aston Villa, with Mourinho preparing to be without him for the remainder of the campaign.

However, Spurs are set to see their midfield ranks boosted significantly by the return of 30-year-old Sissoko, who has teased fans about an imminent return.

Speaking to BeIN Sports ahead of the clash with RB Leipzig in North London, Sissoko stated that he would return to action 'soon'.

Spurs would definitely be keen to welcome the combative midfielder back quickly ahead of a challenging run of fixtures, which includes crucial matches in the top-four hunt
