Moussa Sissako a Celtic transfer 'target' as Paris Saint-Germain defender on Neil Lennon's wanted list

Celtic are considering a move for Paris Saint-Germain defender Moussa Sissako, according to a report.

Boss Neil Lennon is planning to bolster his squad during the winter break and it's said he could move for the 19-year-old centre-back.

A Mali U-23 international, Sissako has been on Celtic's radar since a UEFA Youth League encounter with the Parisiens in 2017, reports The Daily Mail.

Celtic have previously acquired Odsonne Edouard and Timothy Weah from the Ligue 1 champions.

It's reported Sissako has no place in boss Thomas Tuchel's first-team plans and could leave in January if a sell-on arrangement can be agreed with potential suitors.

Celtic are also interested in Cruzeiro defender Fabricio Bruno .

That deal, however, could be complicated by the centre-back's bizarre dispute with the Brazilian club.

Reports in Brazil say Bruno is attempting to force an exit, with the club accusing the player's agent Fabio Mello of attempting to steal documents during a meeting with the CEO.

Mello allegedly attempted to have Bruno's contract cancelled during a meeting with chief Vittorio Medioli.

Cruzeiro released a statement insisting the agent was confronted after returning to the meeting room and attempting to leave with "sensitive club documents".

"Cruzeiro EC publicly deplores the behavior of player agent Fábio Mello, who after a meeting with the CEO of the Transitional Core Manager, Vittorio Medioli, tried to get hold of some sensitive Club documents by returning to the meeting room which, at the moment it was empty.

"After the meeting, Fábio Mello took advantage of a quick departure from Medioli, returned to the room and took with him several documents. Upon noticing the agent's movements through the reflection of the glass, Medioli approached him at the elevator door and managed to retrieve most of the documents, but one of these eventually escaped and was missed only after a detailed conference."
