Moussa Oukabir: Man suspected of killing 13 in Barcelona one of attackers was shot dead in Cambrils

,Moussa Oukabir, the suspected driver of a van which killed 13 people in Barcelona, was one of the attackers shot dead by police in Cambrils.

The 17-year-old is believed to have used documents belonging to his brother, Driss Oukabir, to rent the van that ploughed into crowds of pedestrians in the busy Las Ramblas district.

Thirteen people were killed and more than 100 were injured.

A second vehicle ramming attack was launched that night in the seaside town of Cambrils, just over 70 miles south of Barcalona.

Police said the same cell was responsible for the assault.

One woman was killed and more were injured, before four of the suspects were shot dead by one policeman.

A fifth was shot dead separately soon after by officers.

An axe and knives were found inside the car by investigators, possibly indicating the men were planning a stabbing rampage in the style of the London Bridge attackers.

Said Aallaa and Mohamed Hychami have been named locally as among the suspects killed by police.

One suspect, Younes Abouyaaqoub, remains at large.

Meanwhile, four people have been arrested, including Driss Oukabir, who is said to have handed himself into a police station.

Three are of Morrocan origin and one is from Spain.
