Moussa Diaby price revealed as Arsenal plot Yeremy Pino transfer backup plan amid Edu mission

Arsenal have been told how to sign Bayer Leverkusen winger Moussa Diaby, should a deal for Yeremy Pino fail to materialise. The latter has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League lately following a meteoric rise to superstardom under the stewardship of Unai Emery at Villarreal.

The 19-year-old, who sees his contract at the Estadio de la Cerámica expire in 2027, featured 31 times for the Spanish side in La Liga last season, directly contributing towards ten goals. His impressive displays for the Yellow Submarine caught the attention of Luis Enrique, with the youngster winning his first handful of senior caps for Spain.

According to widespread reports, Pino has also courted the interest of Mikel Arteta and Jurgen Klopp. AS claim that Villarreal have recently become aware of the interest from Arsenal and Liverpool.

The report adds that a big offer would lead to a 'difficult decision' for the Spanish side who have one of Europe's most exciting talents at their disposal. AS outline that Pino has a £67million release clause, though it's said that both the Gunners and the Reds have tabled offers worth €40million (£33.7m).

But, with the summer window set to slam shut at the start of next month and Liverpool - a Champions League outfit - in contention, Arsenal have begun to consider other options - one of which, Diaby. According to But Football Club, the France international 'strongly appeals' to the north Londoners and a €70million (£59m) offer could be enough to win the race.

The 23-year-old managed 29 goal contributions in 40 games for Leverkusen last season, staking a claim as one of Europe's most exciting prospects. However, while the Frenchman has been heavily linked with a move to the Emirates, Diaby seems to have already pledged his allegiance to former side Paris Saint-Germain.

In an interview with L’Équipe, the Frenchman said: "I am the first supporter of PSG, but when I left it was to have more playing time. I tell myself that we have to leave to come back stronger. Why not come back to PSG one day with a different status? One of my goals is to go to a club like that with that status one day."
