Moussa Dembele to Manchester United transfer blow as Lyon president makes defiant claim about January move

Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas insists he won't allow Moussa Dembele to leave the club this month.

The striker has been linked with Manchester United , who had scouts in attendance as he scored and assisted a goal in this evening's win over Bordeaux.

Team-mate Lucas Tousart is also attracting interest, with the likes of Juventus , Barcelona, Borussia Dortmund and Atletico Madrid also in attendance tonight.

Aulas said after the match: "There's a certain amount of misinformation, either relating to Lucas or Moussa.

"I told you they wouldn't leave. They won't leave."

Dembele is also believed to be a target for Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur and if he moves it could have a big knock-on effect for the club he left to join Lyon.

It's thought Celtic have a sell-on clause of around 10 per cent in the deal which saw Dembele move to Ligue 1, so they could be in for a big windfall when he does eventually move on.
