Moussa Dembele's touch of class as Celtic hero makes kind-hearted £180k donation

Former Celtic star Moussa Dembele has paid £180,000 to help build a medical centre in Mali.

The 23-year-old Lyon striker - who is a target for Manchester United and Chelsea - has helped out during this time of need to help those who need it most.

Dembele's financial support will help first aid, nursery and maternity care in the Kobiri village of his father's birth - reports the Mirror.

And his kind-hearted gesture isn't limited to the new medical facility - with the Celtic hero's previous donations helping fund pitches and provide for those in nearby villages.

The sought-after striker's touch of class comes with the world in need of good news as the coronavirus pandemic strengthens its grip across the globe.

The likes of Jordan Henderson and Cristiano Ronaldo have also been orchestrating funding for those in need with a host of other players and teams providing real financial support for those who need it most.

Ronaldo's national team colleague Bernardo Silva told Bleacher Report: "He gave us the idea to donate part of our bonus, so I think our national team, our players will donate 50 percent of our qualifying bonus."
