Moussa Dembele insists he is going nowhere this month amid Man Utd transfer link

Manchester United target Moussa Dembele has insisted he is going nowhere this month - despite interest from the Red Devils and elsewhere.

The former Fulham and Celtic striker has attracted potential suitors by netting 13 times in 28 games for Lyon so far this term, with United and Chelsea reportedly keeping tabs on him.

But, after helping Lyon to the French League Cup final in their penalty shootout victory over Lille on Tuesday night, he insisted he has no plans to leave before the end of the season.

"I am a Lyon player and I will remain so until the end of the season," he said. "I do not think that there will be a departure this winter.

"Lots of things are being said. It is up to me to ignore that and remain concentrated on the pitch."

Dembele was on target from the penalty spot during the 90 minutes before Lyon were victorious in the shootout.

They will play either PSG or Reims who face off this evening in the other semi-final.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is keen to add attacking reinforcements after top goal scorer Marcus Rashford was sidelined for a lengthy period with a stress fracture in his back.

Frank Lampard is also on the lookout for a forward to ease the goal scoring burden on Tammy Abraham, who also suffered a knock in the Blues'd raw with 10-man Arsenal on Tuesday night.

Lyon currently sit seventh in Ligue 1, three points behind fourth-placed Nantes.
