Moussa Dembele in Henrik Larsson shoutout after Celtic icon's Barcelona transfer thumbs-up

Former Celtic striker Moussa Dembele has sent birthday greetings to club legend Henrik Larsson.

The Swede turned 49 on Sunday, with fans around the world wishing him well.

Larsson scored 242 goals in just 313 games for the club, and was affectionately known as the 'King of Kings' by fans.

And it was that name to which Dembele referred as he sent birthday greetings of his own.

The Lyon striker wrote on Twitter: "Long live Celt King of Kings.

"Happy birthday to you! I wish you a great one."

Dembele, who hit 51 goals in 94 games for Celtic, could even be set to unite with Larsson if reports are to be believed.

The Swedish legend is assistant to Ronald Koeman at Barcelona, and Gianluca Di Marzio reported this month that Larsson has been in touch with the Frenchman over a move to the Camp Nou.

Celtic have a iron cast 10 per cent sell-on fee if the player moves on and given his £60m valuation, the Hoops could be in line for a major windfall if any deal goes through.
