Moussa Dembele fumes as Lyon stun Juventus in Champions League tie

Lyon dropped star striker Moussa Dembele for their huge Champions League clash with Juventus - and he didn't look happy.

The former Celtic hero was left warming the subs bench as Lyon travelled to Turin to take on the Serie A champions in the Champions League last 16 clash.

Lyon led 1-0 from the first leg and ended up qualifying after a 2-1 defeat in Italy but Dembele was unimpressed by being dropped by Rudi Garcia.

The Ligue 1 outfit decided to go with former Manchester United star Memphis Depay and Karl Toko Ekambi as their front pair in the game.

Dembele was visibly raging in the warm-up and sat on the ball while his team-mates prepared for the game instead of joining in.

He did make a second half appearance, replacing the aforementioned Depay after 67 minutes.

The 24-year-old has been heavily linked with an exit from Lyon and that could be accelerated if he's growing frustrated with his manager.

He's been heavily linked with a move to England with Manchester United and Arsenal among the teams who want to sign him.

Dembele is certain to leave if Lyon don't qualify for next season's Champions League, and this year's tournament is their only route.

They finished a lowly seventh in Ligue 1 and failed to win the French Cup to qualify for the Europa League.

It means they won't have any European football if they don't win the mini-tournament, due to take place in Lisbon.

Lyon will face Manchester City in the one-off quarter final in Portugal.
