Mouse? Follow your nose

"Using your nose to move the cursor on a computer screen is not the kind of idea that just pops into your head. "It didn't occur to me in the middle of the night," admitted Dr Dmitry O. Gorodnichy, a computer vision scientist with the National Research Council of Canada in Ottawa. Rather, Dr Gorodnichy's camera and software system, which controls a computer by tracking the movement of the nose, had its origins in a contribution to the American space program," reports The New York Times.
