Mountjoy Square Park set to transform as Festival of Nations returns for its 4th year

Dublin’s Mountjoy Square Park is set to transform into a vibrant melting pot as the Festival of Nations is set to take place this Saturday.

Thousands are expected to attend the free event to celebrate diversity and inclusion on Saturday from 12 pm to 6pm .

Festival goers can take part in various exciting classes or watch performances of the Zouk Dance, Alma Boliviana,  Bollywood Fusion, Casa Peru, and Mundo Capoeira, among others!

There will also be delicious food and kids’ entertainment including face painting.

Now in its fourth year, the Festival of Nations will celebrate the vibrant multiculturalism enriching modern Ireland.

Lord Mayor of Dublin Paul McAuliffe, said: “Ireland’s Festival of Nations is one of Dublin City’s most vibrant and exciting public events all year long.

“The creativity on display and the pride in cultures originating from far and wide are a joy to experience.

“I was delighted to hear that more than 27 nationalities are represented at this year’s Festival and I encourage anyone in the city this Saturday to join us in the celebrations.”
