Mountain Warehouse opens second store in Bristol

Outdoor clothing and equipment store Mountain Warehouse has opened a new branch in Clifton.

The retailer’s newest UK store is on Queen’s Road on the Triangle.

It is Bristol’s second store - the other is in Broadmead - and follows the company’s “fantastic financial results”, according to a spokesperson.

Mountain Warehouse founder Mark Neale said, “We’re delighted to be opening our second Mountain Warehouse store in Bristol, and excited to share our passion for adventure and great value outdoor gear for all the family with this vibrant part of the city.”

Mountain Warehouse is the largest outdoor retailer in the UK with more than 250 stores nationally and 350 stores globally.

The brand was first established in 1997 by founder Mr Neale and now has more than four million customers a year.

The retailer sells equipment for outdoor activities, including walking, running, cycling, camping and skiing.
