Mount superb, Jorginho surprise, Azpilicueta poor - Chelsea supporters' player ratings so far

Chelsea supporters have spoken.

It has been a mixed start to life as head coach for Blues legend Frank Lampard as he's overseen just one win in the 2019/2020 Premier League campaign and his side sit 11th in the table.

The picture would have looked a lot different heading into the international break had Chelsea held on to a two-goal lead at home to newly promoted Sheffield United last weekend.

But with a break in the season, Lampard has time to reflect and more importantly nurse several key players back to full fitness ahead of the tough trip to Wolves a week on Saturday.

Furthermore, it's the perfect opportunity to assess the squad Lampard has inherited.

Who has impressed? Who is struggling? Who is yet to get going this season?

There was also a chance for fans to share their thoughts on who has stood out and who has room for improvement under Lampard following the international break.

To little surprise, Mason Mount leads the way with a score of 8.1. This is mainly down to the fact he's scored in successive games against Leicester City and Norwich City, and looks very much at home in the Premier League.

Rounding off the top five is Tammy Abraham - with four Premier League goals to his name - Emerson Palmieri who has become the first-choice left-back ahead of Marcos Alonso.

Mateo Kovacic and Jorginho also make the top five which is somewhat of a surprise given the criticism they received last season, while N'Golo Kante just misses out - although he's sure to move up once he's back to full fitness.

The bottom three is a trio of experienced players.

Marcos Alonso is rock-bottom followed closely by Willian, but it's rather harsh on the pair as they've barely featured under Lampard in the early stage of the campaign.

That can't be said for Cesar Azpilicueta as his difficult start to the season is reflected in a 3.9 rating and joint-19th with Willian.
