Mount Etna spews bright orange lava as Europe’s most active volcano erupts again

Mount Etna , Europe's most active volcano, recently erupted, sending bright orange lava flowing down its slopes.
The eruption occurred on Friday, 26 June, at an altitude of 3,000 metres.
Dramatic drone and ground footage captured spectacular cascades of magma and molten rock.
By Monday, 29 June, the lava had descended to an altitude of 2,700 metres.
While Mount Etna on Sicily, Italy, experiences frequent eruptions, these events are typically not disruptive or a threat to local people.
