Mouni Roy and Suraj Nambiar, who got married in January 2022, have sparked divorce rumours after reportedly unfollowing each other on social media.
Speculation around their relationship began after fans noticed that the couple no longer follows one another online. Reports further claim that Suraj has also removed his wedding pictures with Mouni from his social media account.
Mouni Roy has seemingly reacted to the ongoing divorce rumours surrounding her and husband Suraj Nambiar by sharing a note on her Instagram Story.
Her Instagram Story read, “Humbly requesting all the media houses to not publish false narratives and give us space and privacy. Please 🙏🏻”
Suraj Nambiar is a Dubai-based businessman and investment banker who belongs to a Jain family from Bengaluru. On the other hand, Mouni Roy is not only an actress but also an entrepreneur.
The couple tied the knot at the Hilton Goa Resort in a ceremony that beautifully combined Malayali and Bengali traditions. The wedding festivities began with customary Malayali rituals, followed by a Bengali wedding ceremony later on the same day.
On the professional front, Mouni Roy was most recently seen in the 2025 film The Bhootnii, which also featured Sanjay Dutt, Sunny Singh, and Palak Tiwari.
She is now gearing up for her next project, Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, starring Varun Dhawan alongside Pooja Hegde and Mrunal Thakur. The upcoming film is being directed by David Dhawan.
