This picture shows a massive motorway traffic jam backed up behind a cow wandering down the inside lane today.
Traffic on he M5 was stopped on the Devon & Cornwall bound south carriageways between Junction 19, Portishead, and Junction 20 Clevedon.
@HighwaysSWEST said: ''#M5 J19 #Portishead to J20 #Clevedon southbound - there is currently a cow in the main carriageway, we've stopped all traffic south and will be stopping the traffic northbound shortly, please follow all signs and signals.''
The cow returned to a field around 8am and all the lanes reopened.
