Drivers are being warned of delays thanks to roadworks in Livingston.
The work will be taking place on the A899 Livingston Road, Livingston East Roundabout and Dechmont Roundabout and Road users should be aware of potential disruption to their journey.
A Temporary Traffic Regulation Order is in place between April 29 and June 1 to carry out road works on a night time basis from 9pm to 6am Monday to Friday (Saturday AM) at the following locations, one location at a time.

Firstly there will be carriageway patching and road marking of the A899 Livingston Road northbound carriageway between Knightsridge Fastlink and Livingston East Roundabout. Traffic management will be in place that will see the closure of northbound carriageway with contraflow and 30mph speed limit on southbound carriageway. The northbound Fastlink bus stop at Knightsridge will also be closed.
There will also be carriageway patching, cold-applied road marking and gully renewal at Livingston East Roundabout and closure of northbound carriageway as above. There will be five-way temporary traffic lights at roundabout with 30mph speed limit and a closure of M8 junction 3 Westbound Glasgow slip with diversion onto A899, A89 and A779.

Carriageway patching and road marking is also taking place at Dechmont Roundabout. This will see the closure of the northbound carriageway between Livingston East Roundabout and Dechmont Roundabout with contraflow and a 30mph speed limit on the southbound carriageway. The M8 Junction 3 Eastbound Edinburgh slip will be closed with diversion onto A899, A89 and A779 and five-way temporary traffic lights at Dechmont Roundabout with 30mph speed limit.

Finally drainage investigation will take place on the A899, north of Dechmont Roundabout to Houston Mains Roundabout resulting in the closure of the A899 between Dechmont Roundabout and Houston Mains Roundabout with diversion via A89, B8046 Station Road and A899.
