Motorists warned of two separate incidents on the A9 in Perthshire

Motorists are being warned of two separate incidents on the A9 in Perthshire.

A car has broken down on the southbound A9 near Luncarty, caused traffic to queue all the way back to Bankfoot.

The incident, which happened near the A9 dualling roadworks, happened just after 3pm on Friday, February 28.

Cars are able to pass the incident at the moment, however HGVs are getting stacked up and motorists are being warned of slow traffic from immediately north of the Inveralmond roundabout.

Only minutes earlier, there was a road traffic collision on the A9 at Broxden roundabout.

The accident happened near Cairnie Brae, restricting all lanes southbound on the A9 between Perth and Stirling.

However, Traffic Scotland has now said the southbound lanes relating to this incident have now been cleared.
