Motorists lucky to escape injury in horrific four-car pile-up in Cork city

Motorists were lucky to escape serious injury after a four-car crash in Cork this morning.

Cork City Fire Brigade were called to the South Ring Road to deal with the collision that led to heavy delays.

Air bags were deployed and some of the vehicles were severely damaged after the smash although no one was believed to be seriously injured.

It comes just after another multi-car collision yesterday.
