Motorists issued traffic offence forms during road safety checks

A number of motorists have been issued a traffic offence report form in the Rushcliffe area. Members of Nottinghamshire Police were conducting road safety checks around the Rushcliffe area on Friday, April 28.

During the checks a number of drivers were advised by officers or given a traffic offence form during the checks. Officers spent time on several roads, including Melton Road, Alford Road, Ambleside, Landmere Lane Compton Acres and Wilford Lane.

Officers regularly carry out speed checks and other safety checks across the county. In a tweet, Rushclife Cops stated: "West Bridgford team have been out conducting road safety checks as part of the local road safety priority on Melton Road, Alford Road, Ambleside, Landmere Lane Compton Acres and Wilford Lane.
