Motorist reported for driving while disqualified just weeks after 2-year ban for being over drink limit

A motorist has been reported for driving while banned just a month after they were arrested and disqualified for being over the drink limit.

South Wales Police Bridgend tweeted at 12.13am today (Monday) that officers from Porthcawl had spotted a "familiar vehicle and driver".

It said: "#PorthcawlNPT sighted a familiar vehicle and driver on the road this evening. The same driver who was arrested for drink-driving just four weeks ago and disqualified for two years by the courts. Vehicle seized and driver reported for driving whilst disqualified."

An attached message dating from November 21 said: "#PorthcawlNPT, female arrested tonight for drink-driving after blowing 99 at the roadside. The female had been drinking in Cardiff & Bridgend before thinking it was a wise idea to drive home. Another dangerous road user removed without anyone being harmed #FatalFive."
