A busy Fife road was closed by police after a horror smash left a badly damaged motor smashes across the road.
Officers and paramedics were called to the scene between Kinglassie and Kirkcaldy at around 9.20pm on Tuesday, August 3.
One vehicle reportedly skidded and crashed - leaving the motorist with minor injuries.
The road was shut for around two hours to allow for recovery of the stricken motor.
A picture from the scene showed the badly damaged car straddling the white centre line of the road.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Police called to a single vehicle road crash between Cluny Road and Kinglassie Road, Glenrothes, around 9.20 pm on Tuesday, 3 August, 2021.
Driver sustained minor injury.
“Road reopened about 11.30 pm."
