A motorist was arrested on suspicion of drink driving after they crashed while being chased by gardai.
A member of the public alerted gardai to a car driving dangerously on the M7.
Officers tracked the car and ordered it to stop, however, the vehicle continued before crashing into a barrier at City West in Dublin.
The driver of the car had no licence, and was driving a vehicle with no tax, insurance or NCT. Gardai thanked the public for the tip-off.

A garda tweet said: "Naas Roads Policing Unit: Member of public alerted us to car driving dangerously at M7 roadworks.
"Car failed to stop for Gardaí. Crashed at barrier at City West.
"Driver had No driving licence, insurance, NCT or tax. Arrested on suspicion of drink driving. Car seized. Thank you for alerting us to this driver."
