A motorist was arrested after testing positive for cocaine at a garda checkpoint in Dublin.
The driver was caught by DMR East & DMR Dublin Regional RPU at a checkpoint in Rathcoole on Saturday night.
They were arrested and taken to Clondalkin Garda Station.
The individual was tested using the Drager 5000 Drug Driving Testing Machine.
A garda spokesperson wrote on Twitter: “As part of Operation Surround, DMR East & DMR Dublin Regional RPU's carried out a checkpoint in Rathcoole this eve - an individual was tested using the Drager 5000 Drug Driving Testing Machine.
“Returned a positive reading for Cocaine. Arrested and conveyed to Clondalkin Station.”
