On Sunday, September 29 Unlimited Banger Racing returns, but it could also be your last chance to witness amazing the sound and spectacle of big cars racing to destruction.
With plans to redevelop the Greyhound stadium, 2019 may well be the last season after 21 years of motorsport entertainment with the last event scheduled for Sunday, November 10.
This Sunday is the ‘Last Ever' event for Unlimited Banger Racing (ironically the first time the Big Bangers have been in Manchester for 20 years) and a celebration of the stadium's 21st anniversary of racing - so make sure you don’t miss out!
It's going to her a complete wreck fest, as in Banger Racing it's full contact, no holds barred action. Survival is what's it's all about, no one remembers second place!
There are drivers from all parts of the UK travelling to Manchester to win the Northern Warriors title with a Demolition Derby Finale.
There will also be support from Junior Banger Racing with big numbers of kids aged 11 to 16, the future stars of this hard knock sport.
The stadium has greater all weather facilities with a glass-fronted seated race view grandstand, covered terracing and high-level viewing, fast food and licensed bars, everything for a complete family late afternoon out! Unlimited Banger Racing takes place on Sunday, September 29 at Belle Vue Greyhound Stadium, Kirkmansulme Lane, Gorton, Manchester M18 7BA. Gates open at 2pm with the first race at 3.30pm and finishing around 7.30pm. No advance tickets are required, simply pay at the fate on the day. Prices: Adults £20, Senior Citizens £18, Child (10 to 15) £7.
