Motoring journalists' cash boost for Scotland's Charity Air Ambulance

SCOTLAND’S Charity Air Ambulance has received a cash boost from the Association of Scottish Motoring Writers.

The £1600 donation from the ASMW was partly in recognition of the life-saving work the SCAA team carry out at car crashes.

The money was raised during last year’s Scottish Car Of The Year Awards ceremony to support the essential emergency service that covers the whole of Scotland.

It’s the fifth year that the SCAA has been the nominated charity at the event. The cheque was presented to lead paramedic John Pritchard by ASMW president John Murdoch and association members at the charity’s Perth Airport HQ.

You can find out more about the work of Scotland's Charity Air Ambulance and how to support it by visiting www.scaa.org.uk or calling 0300 123 1111.
