Police have launched an appeal after a motorhome was stolen from outside a Bishopbriggs home.
Cops were alerted yesterday morning after the vehicle, which has the word 'serendipity' printed on its doors, was taken by thieves overnight on Bardrill Drive.
The motorhome was last seen turning right into Brakenbrae Road from Brakenbrae Avenue, at around 12.55am, with a silver Ford Focus following behind it.
A Police Scotland statement published today confirms: "Detectives at Kirkintilloch are appealing for information after a motorhome was reported stolen from outside a house in Bishopbriggs on Wednesday, 1 April, 2020.
"Around 8.05am on Wednesday morning, police were called to a report of an Auto-Trail motorhome stolen overnight from outside a house in Bardrill Drive, Bishopbriggs.
"The motorhome is an Auto-Trail Tribute T720 with the registration number CX11 EPD. It has ‘Serendipity’ in pink letters printed on the doors."
Detective Sergeant Juan Carlos Arias De Leon from Kirkintilloch Police Office said: “Officers have been carrying out enquiries and studying CCTV footage to gather more information on this theft. The last sighting of the vehicle was around 12.55am on Wednesday morning on Brakenbrae Avenue, turning right into Brakenbrae Road. A silver Ford Focus was seen driving behind the motorhome at that time.
“I am appealing to anyone who has seen the motorhome or the silver Ford Focus in the area, or anyone with information that will assist our investigation to contact Kirkintilloch Police Office through 101. Alternatively Crimestoppers can be contacted on 0800 555 111, where anonymity can be maintained.”
