Motorcyclist who tragically died in crash on A82 at Loch Lomond named by police

The motorcyclist who tragically died in a crash on the A82 in Loch Lomond has been named by police.

Officers from Argyle & Dunbartonshire Police Division have named him as Phillip Alan Buchan, from Clydebank.

The family of the 31-year-old, known as Phil, have asked for privacy at this time.

The incident happened around 4.15pm yesterday near to Tarbet and involved a motorcycle and a lorry.

A statement released by Argyle & Dunbartonshire Police Division: "The motorcyclist who died in a crash on the A82 near Tarbert on Wednesday, 20 April, has been named.

"He was Phillip Alan Buchan, known as Phil, aged 31, from Clydebank. His family have asked for privacy at this time.

"The incident happened around 4.15pm and involved a motorcycle and a lorry."
