Motorcyclist who died after colliding with a car in Inverbeg named by cops

Cops have named a motorcyclist who died on the A82 on Sunday.

George Stephen Kelly, 66, from the Kilbarchan area, passed away after the motorcycle he was riding collided with a silver Skoda estate car on the A82 near Inverbeg at around 2.30pm.

The driver and passenger in the car were uninjured.

The driver, a 66-year-old man, was arrested and charged with road traffic offences.

He is due to appear at Dumbarton Sheriff Court on Monday, 29 July 2019.
