A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital following a smash on a country lane in Rochdale .
Emergency services were called to Huddersfield Road in Newhey - not far from Ogden Reservoir - on Sunday afternoon.
A mile-long closure was put in place between Ogden Lane and Far Wicken Hall Farm while police and ambulance crews attended.
It is understood the air ambulance also landed at the scene.
A spokesman for GMP said the man's motorbike came off the road.

He was taken to hospital, however details of his injuries have not yet been released.
It is also not clear if he was transported to hospital via air or road.
Huddersfield Road was shut for around an hour and a half.
TfGM tweeted advising people of the closure.
GMP said: "Police were called to Huddersfield Road at 1pm to reports of a single RTC involving a motorbike which had come off the road.
"A male casualty was taken to hospital with unknown injuries."
