Motorcyclist taken to hospital after crash in Carlton

A motorcyclist was taken to hospital after a crash in Carlton.

The crash happened in Burton Road, near to the junction of the A612 Colwick Loop Road.

Police were called around 9.05pm on Friday, March 29.

Officers said the crash involved a male motorcyclist, who was taken to hospital with injuries not believed to be life-threatening.

The road has since re-opened.

Nottinghamshire Police's Special Constables tweeted about the incident at around 9.25pm last night.

"Burton Road, near to the junction of the A612 Colwick Loop Road is partially closed due to a road traffic collision. Officers are on scene diverting traffic. Please avoid where possible," the tweet read.
