A man aged 25 sustained a head injury when his motorbike collided with a car in Killingbeck tonight.
The motorcyclist - who also injured his left leg - has been taken to hospital however his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
Police were called to the crash near McDonald's on York Road at about 6.41pm.
The 19-year-old female driver of the other vehicle involved - a Vauxhall Corsa - was not injured.
Police remained at the scene awaiting recovery of the white Yamaha bike and the road is open.
