A motorcyclist was taken to hospital with serious injuries following a crash.
Police were called to Town Lane Kew roundabout in Southport at 8.58pm on Tuesday to reports of a crash between a Kia and a Kawasaki motorbike.
The rider of the motorbike, a 59-year-old man, was taken to hospital with serious injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening, police said.

A spokesperson for Merseyside Police said today that the driver of the Kia stopped at the scene and is assisting police with enquiries.
The Force Incident Manager for Merseyside Police told the ECHO on Tuesday: "Called to Town Lane Kew roundabout at 8.58pm to reports of a crash between a Kia and a Kawasaki motorbike.
"Both stopped and assisted police.
"A 59-year-old man, motorbike driver, was assessed at the scene by the ambulance service, injuries not believed to be life threatening.
"No arrests."
In a further update today, a spokesperson for Merseyside Police added: "The rider of the motorbike was taken to hospital with serious injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening.
"The driver of the Kia stopped at the scene and is assisting police with enquiries."
