A motorcyclist is seriously injured in hospital after smashing into a curb in Wigan.
The crash happened on Wigan Road at around 10.50pm last night (Saturday). Police said the driver - a 28-year-old man - hit a curb and then came off his bike.
He was rushed to hospital from the scene by paramedics. He remains there in a serious condition.

Police have now issued an appeal for any witnesses to come forward. Anyone with information, or any CCTV, dashcam or doorbell footage, should contact the Serious Collision Investigation Unit.
