A motorcyclist is believed to have been seriously injured after crashing into a car in Aberdeenshire.
Emergency services rushed to the scene of the smash at the junction of the A90 and A952 at Toll of Birness around 6.05pm on Thursday December 5.
A police update posted on Facebook indicate officers are still at the scene, with ambulances en route to access the injuries.
Police Scotland have urged motorists to avoid the area while emergency services work at the scene.
A statement on social media reads: "Police are currently in attendance at the junction of the A90 and A952 at Toll of Birness, following a collision between a car and a motorcycle.
"The incident at around 6.05pm and ambulance crews are en route to assess injuries to the motorcyclist, which are believed to be serious.
"We would ask motorists to avoid the area in the meantime, as emergency services carry out their work."
