Lanes reopen after motorcyclist seriously hurt in I-80 hit-and-run at Oak Park Avenue

Lanes reopened at 3:30 p.m. Friday after a motorcyclist was seriously injured in a hit-and-run crash on I-80 in the west suburbs.

The crash happened about 11:15 a.m. in the eastbound lanes at Oak Park Avenue, according to Illinois State Police. The two lanes were closed several hours for an investigation.

State police asked witnesses of the crash to call investigators at 847-294-4400.
