A motorcyclist was rushed to hospital after a collision with a car on a main road in Rochdale. Emergency services blocked off Edenfield Road (A680) following the crash shortly before 1.30pm.
Paramedics and police attended the scene, beside the Ashworth Moor reservoir, where the motorcyclist was then taken to hospital by ambulance with serious but non life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the car remained at the scene to assist with enquiries and no arrests have been made in connection with the incident, police added.

A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said: “At around 1:25pm this afternoon, officers were called to reports of a road traffic collision involving a motorbike and a car on Edenfield Road.
Emergency services attended the scene and a man was taken to hospital with what are believed to be serious but not life threatening injuries.”
