A motorcyclist remains in a critical condition after a crash in Castle Donington.
The collision involved a blue Vauxhall Corsa and a black Suzuki motorcycle which took place at 6.20am on Trent Lane, at its junction with Willow Road.
Leicestershire police has said that a man in his 20s was taken to Queen's Medical Centre where he remains in a critical condition.
The driver of the Vauxhall Corsa car suffered very minor injuries.
Police are now looking for witnesses who may have been in the area at the time of the collision.
A spokesperson said: "The Vauxhall was travelling along Trent Lane away from Station Road and the motorcyclist was travelling in the opposite direction when the collision occurred at the junction of Willow Road.
"Anyone who was driving in the area and witnessed the collision or saw either vehicle beforehand is asked to contact the police".
