A motorcyclist was killed in a crash Wednesday on the Tri-State Tollway in north suburban Lake Forest.
The 78-year-old man was driving a blue 2007 Honda motorcycle just after 1 p.m. on the ramp from eastbound I-94 to the Lake Forest Oasis when he veered onto the right shoulder and hit a parked semi, according to a statement from Illinois State Police.
The man, who lived in Milford, Utah, was pronounced dead at the scene, state police said. His identity has not been released.
The ramp to the oasis remains closed as authorities investigate.
