Motorcyclist killed in NW Side crash

A motorcyclist was killed in a crash Thursday on the Northwest Side.

The 23-year-old was riding the motorcycle at a high speed about 11:05 p.m. in the 4000 block of West Fullerton Avenue when he hit a curb and was thrown from the bike, according to Chicago police.

He was pronounced dead while being transported to Community First Medical Center, police said. The Cook County medical examiner’s office has not released details about the fatality.

The CPD Major Accidents unit and Area Five detectives are investigating.
