Motorcyclist killed in crash with car in west Wales

A man has died after a crash between a motorbike and a car in west Wales.

The collision happened on Saturday afternoon outside the village of Cenarth, near the border between Carmarthenshire and Ceredigion .

A red Honda 600 motorcycle was involved in the crash with a white Mitsubishi Shogun shortly after 3pm on the A484, around 1.5 miles north of Cenarth.

The rider of the motorcycle - who has not been named - died at the scene.

His next of kin have been informed.

Police are now appealing for witnesses to the crash.

A spokeswoman for Dyfed-Powys Police said: "Anyone who witnessed the collision or anyone who was travelling along the road at the time, who may have dashcam footage, is asked to contact police on 101 quoting reference DP-20190921-200.”
