A man has died after a head-on crash between a motorbike and a 4x4 in mid-Wales.
The collision happened on Saturday evening near Welshpool Golf Club in Powys .
At around 5.50pm, a silver Suzuki motorbike collided with a red Toyota Land Cruiser on the A458 between the towns of Welshpool and Llanfair Caereinion.
The male driver of the motorbike suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. He has not yet been named, but his next of kin have been made aware.

Dyfed-Powys Police are appealing for information regarding the fatal crash.
The force’s serious collision investigation unit is asking anyone who was travelling along the A458 at the time of the collision, or who may have dash-cam footage from the scene, to contact them by calling 101, quoting reference 298 of August 3.
