Motorcyclist injured and driver reported to police after crash in Salford

A motorcyclist was left injured following a crash involving a car in Salford.

Police say a traffic patrol came across the damaged vehicles involved in the collision on Peel Green Road, Eccles, yesterday.

The biker, who was riding a blue Suzuki motorcycle, was left with a broken foot and the driver of the car was reported to the courts.

The motorbike was damaged and had to be removed from the scene. (GMP)

The vehicle, a maroon-coloured Toyota, was later removed from the scene by a recovery lorry.

In a tweet, officers from GMP's Traffic Unit shared pictures of the crash.

They said: "One of our patrols came across an RTC car v motorcycle on Peel Green Road, Eccles, yesterday.

"Rider broke his foot in the collision. Driver reported. Vehicles recovered."
