Motorcyclist in serious condition in hospital after crash on M4 near Neath

A 28-year-old man is hospital where he remains in a serious condition following a crash on the M4.

The crash, which involved a single vehicle, a black and red Honda motorcycle, happened at around 8.15pm on Wednesday evening (July 21) on the westbound on-slip to the M4 at Junction 43 in Llandarcy.

The 28-year-old from Glynneath was taken to the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff. South Wales Police want to hear from anyone who has any information concerning this incident.

A spokeswoman for the force said: "We are investigating a road traffic collision which happened on the westbound on-slip to the M4 at Junction 43 last night (21st July). The collision, which involved a single vehicle – a black and red Honda motorcycle – happened at around 8.15pm.

"The motorcyclist, a 28-year-old man from Glynneath, was taken to the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff where he is in a serious condition.

"We want to hear from anyone who has any information concerning this incident, anyone who may have any dashcam footage, or who saw the manner in which the motorcycle was being ridden prior to the incident to contact us quoting reference 2100256599."
